I was totally in shock that people can be so judgemental towards others just because of skin color and religion just because they think that they are an "ill omen" . My bakery consist of people from all walks of life and different culture but we all work as a team and we are one big family . I may be new to this place but there were many other shocking incidents that my co-workers have told me about which I refuse to believe and today , i finally felt it for the first time , i almost wanted to throw up on the spot .
As today I will be doing the mobile bakery mission again with my co-worker , someone has to take over the cashier and mend the station while I was away and someone did . She is a very nice muslim lady and taught me many things in the kitchen , for confidentiality purposes , I will not be revealing her name . Someone came into the bakery and was picking up items that she wants to purchase and when she is done , goes to the cashier and all hell break loose .
"What in the blue hell are you doing here !" I believe my co-worker might be still confused by what she said but then things became clearer . "You muslims are nothing but terrorist and sick people who needs to be eradicated from our country , just look at what the hell you are wearing" She was pointing at my co-worker's Hijab (A traditional veil that covers the head of a female muslim) I think my co-worker saw that coming and she didnt say anything much but ask her to hand her tray over so she could pack things up for her .
"NO ! , Dont come close to me , who knows if you have a bomb inside your clothing ! If you are wondering why I am so terrified and had so much hatred for you people , its because I lost my son while he was serving his country , ALL THANKS TO YOU" My Co-worker explained to this nasty customer that she is born and bred here locally and isnt part of any terrorist counterpart , she is just like any ordinary citizen here . In a split second , this insane customer just threw the entire tray of food at my co-worker and tell her in the face that she doesnt need a TERRORIST to serve her , who knows if the food are toxic with their "Terrorist bio-weapons"
This is getting way out of hand and my other staff in the kitchen heard the commotion and came out to see what happened , they were shocked beyond words . "The hell is going on ? asked one of the bakers , The customer went to grab a few buns and threw it at my muslim co-worker again , she was reduced to tears . The other staffs had no choice but to get rid of that nasty customer before things escalated .
YOU KILLED MY SON , YOU TOOK HIM AWAY FROM ME . I WILL NEVER COME TO THIS DAMN PLACE EVER . YOU MURDERS SHOULD BURN IN HELL YOU HEAR ME , IN HELL ! She was litteraly dragged out of the shop by 2 of our guys , we shut the doors on her .
Here I am , being so happy about today's outdoor sales and is ready to break the news to everyone and things were really gloomy in here . One of the staff explained to me what happened and I really felt like throwing up for some reason and I did eventually , I was again , losing faith in humanity .
When Linda returned from her appointment , she learned about the entire case and she told my muslim staff to take the day off tomorrow as she is really in distress , You know , I am in this line and ANY PEOPLE good or bad will come in and the main thing is , HOW TO HANDLE THEM .That itself is a skill and we always need to be prepared at all times .
So guys , I am not sure what can I say to make my co-staff feel better but i have told ella about this case and she said she will gladly give that sick customer a good 5 star ass whopping (typical of ella) If you ask me , just because SOMEONE did something wrong , you do not condemn the entire nation for it . Yes I know losing your own son in the battlefield is a painful thing but my co-staff isnt part of that isnt she ? I am so lost for words right now ...

It had been a few crazy months where you had travelled with the Dixons; you wondered when things would ever settle down with the two, despite the fact you had found a cabin where the three of you could stay. You were foreign to them, and they were foreign to you, and you still had some trust issues between the both of them and they, of course, you. There were some fun times with the three of you, but then sometimes you wished you never went along with them. You tended to like Daryl more, though, he was nicer…not by much, but it counted. Merle was a dickhead; you almost despised him and thought it would be best to just not talk to him unless spoken to. However, whenever you were spoken to, he’d tell you some sort of sexist joke and crap, belittle you, all sorts of stuff. Life wasn’t all peaches and cream, but it disturbed you and irritated you to no end, sometimes you were tempted to blow a hole in his head, but then Daryl would kill you, no hesitation.
