Benn wanting to talk about this topic for sometime and here goes . Cyber Vs Real life friends , what are the pros and cons of them and what do you actually feel about this ?
I am pretty sad to say that i have better cyber friends then real life friends (Except for Ella) as they are people who have never seen me before and yet they could be there for me when I needed them and also , they show a better understanding of what is it like to be a friend to you . Its such a shame that in real life , people cant outperform a cyber friend , that is IN MY CASE .
You see what got me thinking really hard is that real life friends are there in front of you , flesh and blood and there is so much more they he or she can do to make you feel more loved and treasured . Sad to say , not everyone is like this as it could be their human nature or they just simply dont care . I still recall last year when I went overseas to spread the love to the homeless , bystanders and passer by just walked past them like as if they are transparent , that totally break my heart .
I have always believed in treating others how you want to be treated and it barely works in real life , maybe the people here are just douchebags but the thing is , I do feel that some people judge you first before they spend ANY efforts on you . Most people in my workplace know that I am a very quiet person , push over , will handle all sorts of punishments but they have never seen my tears and my pain . With all honestly , I think they are just people who are selfish and ignorant at a totally whole new level . Now again back to the cyber vs real life friends thingy , i would totally go as far to say that some cyber friends treats you better then your own family member does , its real and its as real as it gets . I do know of family members doing horrible things to their own siblings or parents who are just miserable beings that drag the whole household down . Things like bad parenting , alcohol abuse , gambling issues or even resorting to physical abuse . The victims normally have no channels to turn to , except for real life friends or online friends but from what I have heard all these while , its always the online friends that prevails . You guys ROCK !
After posting the journal entry yesterday , i had loads of heart warming messages from friends and even strangers that browse through my page for the first time . I just wonder why is it that people from the net can be SO NICE and why people that I have to see on a day to day basis is treating me like dirt and constantly dragging my face across the mud . You guys are totally amazing let me tell you that , you put society and the first class A-Holes in my workplace to shame .
You know , some people call me delusional and someone who feels insecure because ONLINE FRIENDS are BS and they are very fake . To me , I think he or she should really eat back those words for real , they just cant see the bigger picture . If someone can just use words and not there for me physically and yet he/she is able to totally change my mood and mindset , i wonder what he or she can do in real life .
For now , I am planning on going to overseas again this year end , december and meet up you guys for real . Its about time honestly and I should start saving now !
